Tripura Global Pineapple Festival 2026 to Showcase Queen Pineapple

Tripura’s famed Queen Pineapple will take centre stage at the Tripura Global Pineapple Festival 2026, scheduled from June 27 to 29 at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, New Delhi. Organised by the Government of Tripura in association with the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, the event aims to promote the state’s GI-tagged Queen Pineapple at national and international levels.

Known for its natural sweetness, rich aroma and low fibre content, the Queen Pineapple is one of Tripura’s strongest horticulture products and a major livelihood source for farmers in the state. The festival will feature pineapple displays, farmer stories, B2B meetings, export-focused sessions, cultural performances, food showcases and exhibitions highlighting Tripura’s crafts and traditions.

The event also supports the larger Mission Queen Pineapple initiative, which focuses on improving cultivation, processing, branding and market access. With this festival, Tripura is looking to strengthen its position in agri-tourism, exports and value-added fruit products.
