Marriott’s Ritz-Carlton Reserve heads to Shanghai

Marriott International has signed an agreement to bring the first urban Ritz-Carlton Reserve concept to Shanghai, scheduled to open in 2030.

The project is positioned as a new interpretation of the Reserve brand for major global gateway cities.

Why Indian travel companies should care Shanghai is increasingly being positioned as a luxury, business, MICE and gateway destination, and additional ultra-luxury inventory will give Indian high-end operators another product for China itineraries.
