Kinnaur Kailash Yatra Opens with Daily Pilgrim Cap

The Kinnaur Kailash Yatra 2026 will run from July 30 to August 10, with registration compulsory for every pilgrim undertaking the high-altitude journey. Authorities have capped participation at 375 people per day to manage safety and movement along the route. Of these, 175 places will be available through online registration, 125 through offline registration and 75 through the local adventure-tour-operator quota. A medical fitness certificate is mandatory, reflecting the demanding terrain and altitude involved. The pilgrimage schedule will remain dependent on weather conditions, making advance planning particularly important for travellers heading to Himachal Pradesh during the monsoon period.
