Capsule-Hotel Startup Raises ₹8 Crore for Expansion

Hospitality startup NapTapGo has raised ₹8 crore in seed funding to expand its capsule-hotel model across India. The company currently operates more than 130 pods across Noida, Amritsar and Katra and has served over 10,000 guests. Its flexible model allows travellers to pay according to the number of hours they stay, making the product relevant for pilgrims, solo travellers, transit passengers and business visitors. Mature properties have reportedly achieved occupancy levels of up to 80%. The company has also signed an agreement to explore pod accommodation at highway transit locations and plans to expand through company-owned properties and co-invested franchise partnerships.
