Kerala Travel Mart closes with 58,000 B2B meetings

Kerala Travel Mart 2026 ended in Kochi with 58,000 B2B meetings, comprising 45,000 pre-scheduled meetings and roughly 13,000 additional interactions. The four-day event brought together buyers and sellers from India and overseas, with strong participation from markets including Germany, France, Malaysia, Spain, South Africa and Oman.

The mart featured 383 tourism-enterprise stalls and 25 government-institution stalls, with discussions ranging from AI and personalisation to Ayurveda, wellness and adventure tourism.

The scale of the meetings is significant for Kerala’s B2B ecosystem: the state is attempting to widen its tourism proposition beyond its traditional backwater and leisure portfolio.

B2B takeaway: Kerala is positioning trade engagement, rather than consumer promotion alone, as a growth engine.
