Shri Suman Billa, Additional Secretary & Director General, Ministry of Tourism, emphasised: “India has significant potential for MICE. Sanjiv Agarwal, Chairman & CEO, Fairfest Media, noted: “BLTM’s role is to bring demand together with the right destinations and travel businesses, creating connections that translate into business well beyond the show” . This growing focus on experience-led business events also reflects the wider shift towards heritage-led MICE experiences, where venues themselves are becoming part of the event experience.
