EgyptAir looks to build a new Africa–Asia bridge

EgyptAir announced plans for a Cairo–Singapore–Sydney service from early 2027, subject to regulatory approval. The proposed operation would use Airbus A350-900 aircraft, although schedules and frequency were yet to be confirmed.

If launched, the route would create a new one-stop operating pattern between North Africa and two major Asia-Pacific gateways and could have implications for tour operators selling combined Africa-Asia itineraries. International connectivity is increasingly shaping how such multi-market itineraries are built.
