VisitBritain Showcases Northern England to Indian Travel Trade in New Delhi

VisitBritain’s England’s Great North Destination Showcase 2026 is being held in New Delhi on October 12–13, bringing Northern England’s tourism offerings to the Indian travel trade. The event forms part of the North of England Mayoral trade mission and aims to connect regional tourism representatives with 150 leading Indian travel buyers and media professionals.

Participating organisations include Marketing Manchester, Cumbria Tourism, Liverpool City Region Destination Partnership, West Yorkshire Local Visitor Economy Partnership and Experience North East England.

The two-day showcase features one-to-one business meetings, destination presentations, product seminars and networking opportunities. Key themes include sports tourism, particularly cricket and football, alongside culture, music, screen tourism and heritage attractions. The initiative aims to strengthen India–UK tourism partnerships and expand travel opportunities across Northern England.
