Emirates Debuts World’s First Electric Premium Economy Seat on A350

Emirates has unveiled the world’s first electrically powered Premium Economy seat, debuting on its newly delivered Airbus A350 aircraft. The innovative cabin features a full-height adjustable privacy screen between every seat—operated at the touch of a button.

Installed in a 2-3-2 configuration with 28 seats, the electric privacy divider extends to full seat height, allowing passengers to raise or lower it using seat controls and lock it into position for enhanced privacy while dining, working, or relaxing.

The seats measure 20 inches wide with up to 39 inches of pitch, reclining into a cradle position without intruding on rear passengers. The innovation marks Emirates’ continued commitment to redefining passenger experience across all cabin classes.
