KTO Appoints Cho Yoonmi as New Director for New Delhi Office

Korea Tourism Organization has appointed Cho Yoonmi as the new Director of its New Delhi office, strengthening its focus on the Indian outbound travel market. With over 25 years of experience at KTO, she brings strong expertise in destination marketing, tourism strategy and international market development.

Her appointment comes at a time when South Korea is gaining stronger visibility among Indian travellers, driven by K-culture, cuisine, shopping, wellness and experiential holidays. Cho is expected to work closely with Indian travel trade partners, media and tourism stakeholders to expand Korea’s reach across key Indian cities.

The move also builds on recent India-focused promotions such as the Korea Tourism Roadshow 2026 and reflects wider demand for Asian destinations among outbound travellers. For the travel trade, the appointment signals fresh opportunities for Korea-focused packages, MICE programmes and leisure itineraries.
