FCM Travel Asia Strengthens Japan Leadership With Key Executive Appointments

FCM Travel Asia has expanded its leadership team in Japan with a series of senior appointments as the travel management company looks to strengthen its position in the country’s corporate travel and business events market.

Tokyo, 5 October 2026 — FCM Travel Asia has appointed Benjamin Beh as General Manager, FCM Travel Japan, alongside several other senior leadership appointments covering account management, meetings and events, sales, marketing and supplier partnerships.

Beh brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate travel, spanning both travel management and the corporate buyer side of the industry. His previous experience includes roles with BCD Travel and Abbott, as well as several years working in Japan.

In his new position, Beh will lead FCM’s operations in Japan, focusing on customer relationships and the company’s growth in the market.

According to Beh, trusted relationships remain particularly important in Japan, while corporate customers are increasingly looking for travel partners that can understand business objectives, anticipate requirements and generate greater value from travel programmes.

He said FCM’s approach will be to combine local market understanding with the company’s international network, technology and corporate travel expertise to support companies and travellers operating both domestically and internationally.

Broader Leadership Expansion

The appointment is part of a wider strengthening of FCM Travel Japan’s management structure.

Aki Yonezu has been appointed Head of Account Management and Meetings & Events. Yonezu has progressed through several positions within Flight Centre Travel Group over the past seven years and will now oversee key areas spanning corporate account management and business events.

Norimasa Arase has taken on the position of Sales & Marketing Manager, bringing around 20 years of experience across corporate sales, marketing and business strategy within Japan’s travel industry.

Together, the appointments give FCM’s Japan operation additional local leadership across corporate travel, customer management, business events, sales and marketing.

Supplier and Strategic Partnerships Get Added Focus

Flight Centre Travel Group has also appointed Joe Nakazawa as Director of Supplier Relations and Strategic Partnerships in Japan.

Nakazawa will focus on strengthening relationships with airlines, hotels and other partners within Japan’s travel ecosystem as the group seeks to expand FCM’s presence in the market.

His previous senior positions include roles at the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Tourism Australia and Japan Travel Bureau, giving him experience across aviation, destination marketing, tourism and corporate travel.

FCM Sees Japan as an Important Growth Market

Vicki Parris, Managing Director, FCM Travel Asia, described Japan as an important market for the company and said the expanded management team reflects FCM’s ambitions for its business in the country.

According to Parris, the combination of experienced local leadership, industry relationships, FCM’s global network and its technology capabilities is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to support corporate customers as their travel requirements evolve.

The appointments also underline the increasing importance being placed on combining local market expertise with global travel-management capabilities, particularly as companies seek greater support across corporate travel, meetings and events, supplier management and traveller experience.
