IndiGo aircraft makes abnormal runway contact at Bengaluru
An IndiGo A321 operating from Guwahati to Bengaluru experienced abnormal runway contact during its second landing attempt at Kempegowda International Airport on 27 September. The aircraft landed safely, and all passengers and crew disembarked safely. The aircraft was subsequently placed under maintenance checks.
The incident occurred during gusty weather and was reported to the relevant authorities.
B2B takeaway: With India’s domestic network expanding rapidly, operational resilience, aircraft availability and safety oversight remain critical to schedule reliability.
