Etihad and Africa World Airlines Plan Wider Network Partnership

Etihad Airways and Africa World Airlines have signed an agreement covering passenger connectivity, cargo and loyalty cooperation. Once implemented, passengers will be able to travel on a single itinerary beyond Accra to destinations across Ghana and West Africa while gaining onward access through Abu Dhabi to a wider international network covering 118 destinations. The partnership is also expected to support cargo flows from Ghana and neighbouring markets into global trade routes. Cooperation will be introduced in stages, with interline and codeshare arrangements among the planned developments. The partnership also prepares the market for a new Abu Dhabi–Accra service scheduled to begin on March 24, 2027.
