AI Moves From Trip Suggestions to Actual Business Travel Booking

Business travellers may soon be able to complete entire flight and hotel bookings directly through an AI assistant rather than switching between multiple travel platforms. A new connector allows travellers and enterprise AI agents to search, book and manage policy-compliant travel while remaining inside their existing AI workspace. The system can review calendars, recommend itineraries and complete transactions while following corporate travel policies and negotiated agreements. It is expected to become available to customers during the third quarter of 2026. Research accompanying the launch found that 92% of enterprise decision-makers expect AI to transform business travel, while only 24% of travellers currently describe their journey as seamless.
