Rahul Himalian Takes Additional Charge as IRCTC CMD

Rahul Himalian has taken additional charge as Chairman and Managing Director of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation following the resignation of Sanjay Kumar Jain. The appointment takes effect from July 20, while Himalian will continue serving as Director of Tourism and Marketing. A 1999-batch Indian Railway Traffic Service officer, he has more than 26 years of experience across Indian Railways and its tourism and catering organisation. He has served as a Whole-Time Functional Director on the board since February 2024. His current responsibilities include tourism, information technology, human resources, infrastructure, administration and official-language operations, placing him at the centre of the organisation’s future strategy.
