Indian Refiners Freeze Domestic Jet Fuel Prices
Indian refiners have decided to freeze jet fuel prices for domestic flights, following requests from airlines seeking relief from recent price hikes, according to Bloomberg.
In April, jet fuel prices surged by 8.6% due to tighter supply, prompting carriers to appeal for a pause. In an additional concession, state-owned refiners also reduced the price of jet fuel for international flights, Bloomberg reported, citing unnamed spokespeople from the companies.
