Tourism Malaysia strengthens ties with the Philippines
Tourism Malaysia brought its 2026 sales mission to Davao on 20 August as part of an effort to deepen cooperation with the Philippine market. The programme focused on strengthening trade relationships and destination promotion.
The initiative is particularly relevant to short-haul ASEAN travel, where consumers increasingly combine two or more countries in one holiday. Joint sales activity can help airlines, hotels, cruise companies and destination-management firms convert regional interest into multi-country itineraries.
