Phu Quoc Leads Traveloka’s Newcomer Ranking in Q3 2026

Phu Quoc led five newcomers in Traveloka’s Q3 2026 Southeast Asia Index, outperforming its origin-market benchmark across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The other newcomers were Hangzhou, London, Nagoya and Paris.

Within Vietnam’s domestic ranking, Vinh led the fastest-growing destinations, followed by Phu Quoc, Con Dao, Chu Lai and Buon Ma Thuot. The regional ranking measures growth relative to each origin market; it does not publish absolute booking volumes or establish a ranking of national tourist arrivals.

B2B impact: The results suggest that Phu Quoc is attracting interest across several regional markets, giving hotels and experience providers a reason to diversify their marketing and distribution. The island’s preparations to host APEC in 2027 also put destination capacity in focus. Suppliers should compare platform-level momentum with actual occupancy, air connectivity and contracted demand before expanding inventory commitments.
