Vranckx is closely connected with SWISS, having served as the airline’s CEO from 2021 to 2024 and as a board member since 2024. He currently serves on the Lufthansa Group Executive Board as Chief Commercial Officer.

Ashwin Bhat, CEO of Lufthansa Cargo, has also been newly elected to the SWISS Board. Bhat previously led SWISS WorldCargo and has held several senior roles within the Lufthansa Group. His return adds strong cargo and international aviation expertise to SWISS’ leadership structure.
