Vietnam hotel group commits US$39,500 annually to community tree planting
The Anam Foundation has launched Anam Green Life, committing VND1 billion (about US$39,500) annually to tree planting across Vietnam.
The programme focuses on schools, public spaces and neighbourhoods rather than conventional carbon-offset projects, initially concentrating on communities around The Anam Cam Ranh and The Anam Mui Ne.
Why it matters: Sustainability is increasingly being evaluated through tangible destination-level impact, not just hotel carbon-offset claims.
