Air India Upgrades Delhi–Melbourne Flights with B777-300ER

Air India has started deploying its upgraded Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the Delhi–Melbourne route from July 1, bringing a stronger premium travel experience for passengers flying between India and Australia. The aircraft replaces the earlier Boeing 787-8 service and introduces First Class on this route for the first time.

The refreshed three-class cabin includes eight First Class suites, 40 fully flat Business Class beds and 280 Economy seats. Travellers will also benefit from Wi-Fi, improved in-flight entertainment, enhanced dining and a more comfortable long-haul journey. Air India currently operates four weekly non-stop flights to Melbourne, with daily services planned from September 1, 2026.
