Goa records 61.38 lakh tourist arrivals in seven months

Goa recorded 61.38 lakh tourist arrivals between January and July 2026, according to the state’s tourism data.

Of that total, 59.02 lakh were domestic visitors and 2.36 lakh were international arrivals. July alone recorded 6.94 lakh arrivals, a year-on-year increase of 2.27%.

The numbers are particularly interesting because July falls within Goa‘s monsoon season.

B2B angle: The destination is increasingly trying to diversify beyond the traditional November–March beach season, with wellness, heritage, gastronomy, MICE, adventure and workation products.

For hotels, this is potentially the bigger opportunity: turning seasonality into year-round occupancy.
