Europe–India Nonstop Travel Demand Drives Swiss International Air Lines Expansion on Delhi Route

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) will extend its additional direct flights between Zurich and Delhi through June and up to July 11, 2026, citing sustained demand for nonstop connectivity between India and Europe.

Beyond its regular daily Zurich–Delhi service, the airline is operating a second daily frequency using an Airbus A330 aircraft.

According to SWISS, the temporary capacity boost addresses a sharp rise in demand for direct connections, as many passengers traveling between Asia and Europe are currently unable to use their original itineraries routed through the Gulf region due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East.
