Dhaka becomes an Asian tourism trade meeting point
The 13th Asian Tourism Fair runs from 17–19 September in Dhaka, bringing together more than 200 tourism organisations from 10 countries across approximately 300 booths.
Participating markets include Bangladesh, Thailand, the Philippines, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Malaysia, China and Pakistan, making the fair a useful snapshot of intra-Asian tourism ambitions.
