Air India to Resume Delhi–Tel Aviv Flights from December 1

Air India will resume non-stop services between Delhi and Tel Aviv from December 1, 2026, restoring a direct air link between India and Israel. The airline will operate five weekly Boeing 777 flights, scheduled from Sunday through Thursday.

The restart is significant for both leisure and business travel, particularly as direct connectivity can reduce dependence on European or Middle Eastern hubs for passengers travelling between the two countries. For Indian travel companies, the service also creates scope to rebuild Israel itineraries around direct access from the national capital.

The route comes as Air India continues to rebuild and expand its international network following several years of fleet expansion, network restructuring and the integration of Vistara. The airline’s international strategy is increasingly focused on strengthening direct connections from India to key global markets.

For the travel trade, the return of Delhi–Tel Aviv connectivity could support renewed interest in Israel packages, religious tourism, business travel and diaspora movement, subject to the wider operating environment.
