Goa pushes AI deeper into the visitor journey
Goa is expanding its tourism technology offering with an AI-powered chatbot providing travellers with verified information on accommodation, transport and tourism services. The initiative follows the state’s wider push to bring public services and tourism assistance onto digital platforms.
The wider Goa Online ecosystem has already handled more than 21 lakh requests from over nine lakh registered users, according to the state’s IT department.
B2B takeaway: Destination-owned AI could become an important channel for reducing information gaps while directing visitors towards registered tourism businesses.
