United announces its biggest-ever international network expansion

United Airlines has launched what it describes as its largest international network expansion in company history, adding 10 new international cities and three new routes across Europe and Asia.

The airline is also introducing the Airbus A321XLR into its fleet.

The A321XLR allows carriers to consider city pairs that previously required larger wide-body aircraft—or could not support nonstop service economically.
