Centara strengthens development leadership as Thailand’s hotel groups chase international growth
Centara Hotels & Resorts has appointed Andrew Shaw as Chief Development Officer, a move aimed at accelerating the group’s global development agenda.
The appointment comes as Thai hotel groups increasingly look outside their traditional domestic markets for growth through management contracts, partnerships and strategic expansion.
Centara currently operates across 14 countries with more than 80 properties, according to company information.
B2B significance: Development leadership appointments are often an early signal of where hotel companies expect the next wave of supply and investment.
