Sameer Bhargava Joins JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu as Director of Food & Beverage

JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu has appointed Sameer Bhargava as its new Director of Food & Beverage, adding an experienced hospitality professional to its leadership team.

With nearly 18 years of experience in the industry, including around 12 years in food and beverage leadership, Bhargava brings a strong understanding of luxury hospitality and diverse dining formats. In his new role, he will oversee the hotel’s restaurants, bars, banquets and in-room dining operations.

Before joining JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, Bhargava served as Director of Food & Beverage at The Leela Palace Chennai. There, he managed a seven-venue operation and worked across areas such as menu development, culinary innovation, talent building, strategic collaborations and business growth.

His career has also given him exposure to different aspects of the food and beverage business, from fine-dining restaurants and all-day dining outlets to bars, banquets and large-scale in-room dining operations. He has also explored opportunities across the social, entertainment and luxury space, helping create experiences that connect food with the wider lifestyle of a destination.

Bhargava has completed the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Level 2 course, further strengthening his knowledge of wines and beverages.

At JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, his focus will be on enhancing the hotel’s established dining portfolio, creating engaging experiences for guests and diners, and nurturing the teams behind the property’s food and beverage operations. His appointment comes as the hotel continues to evolve its culinary offerings and explore new opportunities in Mumbai’s dynamic dining landscape.
