American Express Centurion Lounge at Mumbai T2 to Close from July 1
American Express is permanently closing its Centurion Lounge at Mumbai Airport’s Terminal 2 Domestic Departures, effective July 1, 2026. Instead of the Centurion Lounge, eligible Platinum Card Members will now be accommodated at the Adani Business Class Lounge near Gate 44, regardless of their class of travel.
The transition involves a few key details
- Alternative Facility: Eligible card members will be redirected to the Adani Business Class Lounge.
- Reason: The closure is reportedly driven by wider lounge infrastructure adjustments mandated by the airport rather than an American Express business decision.
- Impact: Cardholders will still receive premium lounge access without interruption, though fans of the Centurion Lounge’s exclusive offerings will lose access to its specific amenities.
