Official closing report of ITB Berlin 2026

ITB Berlin once again proved why it remains the global travel industry’s most important meeting point. This year, the event brought together 5,601 exhibitors from 166 countries, creating a truly international platform for collaboration. Over the course of the three trade visitor days, nearly 97,000 industry professionals attended, engaging in meaningful conversations, building partnerships, and strengthening business networks.

Even with some travel disruptions caused by limited flight availability linked to the Middle East conflict, attendance remained almost at the same level as last year—highlighting the resilience of the industry and the enduring relevance of ITB Berlin, especially in uncertain times.

More importantly, the event reinforced the value of face-to-face interaction. In a landscape where trust, clarity, and strong partnerships matter more than ever, in-person meetings continue to play a critical role. This sentiment was clearly reflected in attendee feedback, with 96% of visitors praising the high quality of meetings and expressing their intent to return—further cementing ITB Berlin’s position as the world’s leading travel trade show, even in its anniversary year.
