Akasa Air adds Udaipur to its network

Akasa Air announced operations from Udaipur with daily flights connecting the Rajasthan destination to Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Udaipur’s appeal spans weddings, luxury leisure, heritage travel and corporate events. Additional air access from two major commercial centres could make it easier for agents to build short-break packages, wedding itineraries and itineraries combining Rajasthan with wider Indian circuits.

The commercial impact will depend on flight timings, fares, seat availability and onward connections rather than frequency alone.

B2B takeaway: Tour operators should assess the new service alongside hotel inventory, airport transfers and seasonal demand when designing Udaipur packages.
