IHG takes hotel booking deeper into LINE
IHG Hotels & Resorts has expanded its LINE Mini App into Thailand and Taiwan, following its introduction in Japan.
The move gives users access to IHG’s portfolio of more than 7,000 hotels, loyalty services and booking functionality directly within LINE. The opportunity is sizeable: LINE has approximately 56 million monthly active users in Thailand and 22 million in Taiwan.
B2B impact: Hotel distribution is moving beyond traditional OTAs and hotel websites into the messaging platforms consumers already use every day.
