GULF CRISIS UPDATE: Evacuations Continue, Travel Patterns Shift

    7,750 Indians     were repatriated from Doha on     25 Qatar Airways flights     between March 20-22, the Indian Embassy in Qatar confirmed. Since February 28, nearly     3.75 lakh passengers     have returned to India from West Asia amid ongoing regional tensions .

    Aviation status:    

– Qatar Airways operating limited flights until March 28

– IndiGo has suspended flights to Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah until March 28

– Airspace over Kuwait and Bahrain remains closed; Qatari airspace partially reopened

– UAE-India flights operating limited, non-scheduled services based on safety conditions 

    Indian seafarers:     22 Indian-flagged vessels with over 600 seafarers remain in the western Persian Gulf under continuous monitoring. Over 547 seafarers have been repatriated to date .

    Evacuations from Iran:     1,031 Indians (707 students, 324 others) have exited Iran via alternate routes through Armenia and Azerbaijan, with Indian missions providing ongoing assistance .
