British Tourists Flock Back to Cyprus & Turkey After Ceasefire

Following a two-week ceasefire agreement between the US, Israel, and Iran, British holidaymakers are returning to Cyprus and Turkey in large numbers .

Key Figures:
  • Cyprus bookings surged 88% – the largest increase among destinations
  • Turkey bookings jumped 57% – now the third most-booked destination for UK travelers (behind Spain and Canary Islands)
  • Seven-night all-inclusive in Antalya from £315 per person
  • Cyprus all-inclusive from £450 per person

This marks a dramatic reversal from March, when Cyprus saw hotel bookings drop 40% and cancellation rates hit 100% following a drone attack on a British RAF base on the island .

Why the rebound? Caspar Nelson of On the Beach says Britons are seeking "great value in the sun" with all-inclusive packages offering cost certainty amid rising living costs .
